Vintage Rail Film: The Railroad Story 1950s Historic Trains in America

This Vintage Rail Film was produced by the 31 members which comprised the Illinois Association of Railroads. The film explores problems which faced the railroads in the 1950's which ranged from competition from air travel, trucking, and automobiles as the industry was converting from steam locomotives to diesel power.
