Union Pacific Big Boy: The Future Of The Project

We recently acquired a 7.5" gauge Union Pacific Big Boy project from a friend of ours in the hobby. This video discusses our future plans for the Big Boy project and it offers, you, our audience, a potential path forward to see Big Boy completed.

Currently we have committed to build the following equipment for how-to and educational content:
- Union Pacific 844
-An Allen Ten-Wheeler
- An Allen Mogul Tender
- Six Heavyweight Passenger Coaches for UP 844
- Two Wood Reefer Kits from Pacific Design Shops
- A Standard Hopper Car by Pat Murphy
- A Precision Steel Car Box Car Kit
- A Precision Steel Car Gondola Kit
- A Drop Center Flat Car from Pacific Design Shops
- A Museum Trains F Unit Kit
- And we are still working to finish off work on a Titan Trains Caboose, a Murphy rounded end hopper, and a Precision Steel Car Co. flat car. Build galleries for these projects can be found at Flickr.com/thesteamchannel

With this heavy backlog of projects, the decision to shelve the Big Boy project was the only reasonable decision to make. This project will remain on our backburner for at least 5 to 10 years, or unless our audience is interested in crowdfunding this potential free-to-viewer educational series. Regardless of the outcome of this project, we think you'll enjoy the other content we have planned for the future.
