THIS happened the weekend of May 29th -May 31st. Tensions between Latin Kings and Ganster Disciples was high as Kings were guarding their turf from any looting, fires, etc.?

Little Village (the neighborhood where this takes place) is the epicenter of Mexican life in Chicago. It's known for hardworking , honest people. The neighborhood is also a notorious gang stronghold with its two main gangs being the Latin Kings and The two-six boys, but once there was a threat of looting the Kings set up to protect their neighborhood, which resulted in a beef between the Kings and the G.D.'s coming into/ passing through Little village.
