Restoring the Athearn Blue Box SD40-2

Watch as an Athearn Blue Box SD40-2 is brought back to operating condition. I picked this locomotive up for 5.99 at our local hobby shop because it was in a flood. The locomotive ran perfectly after cleaning the wheels, brushing off the contact rods, & running out the kinks. A handrail kit can be purchased on Ebay for approximately $6.
