In 2019 Boston Police officer Christopher Curtis was involved in a road rage incident on the freeway. During the incident he got the license plate of the other driver, and later ran the drivers information at work. He checked out a citation book and mailed the other driver a fake citation, writing on it that it was from State Police, along with a hand written note daring them to fight the ticket in court. The victim does go to court to fight the citation, and Christopher Curtis' fraudulent activities are exposed. He is put on unpaid leave, and slapped with 6 charges. Last month he plead guilty to those charges and was sentenced to a lax 1 year probation.
