2020 People React Outside a Dispensary As Marijuana Becomes Legal For The 1st Time EVER in IL!

DPN was there on this historic day to get a feel for the atmosphere. The peoplebl were generally in a good mood. Marijuana became legal for recreational use in Chicago and the rest of Illinois when the clock struck midnight on Jan. 1 2020. DPN was there talking to people on both sides of the aisle. At the Sunnyside Dispensary just blocks outside of Chicago. Reports where the wait was as long as 3 hours. We also talked to Ofc. Lombardi who answered questions that may have been a grey area for alot people. He was able to clear up the basics. 30 grams is what you are allowed to buy with an Ill Id half that with an out of state I.d., but the 30 grams is for the green leafy stuff, other products have different limitations which is explained in the video.
