A DPN subscriber sent me this video about a week ago. The video is of him in his car on his families property that they have had for 150 years. The officers saying that because they got a call they had the right to detain and ID the man. Even in states with the lowest legal threshold to detain and ID someone need a lot more than a phone call. A call to 911 in and of itself CANNOT be the sole reason to detain a person. As you watch the video it becomes clear the officer on scene has no idea who made the call, Telling his supervisor "it had to be somebody from around here?" Really? You don't think the call may have come from Iowa? The man was ultimately released when the Supervisor heard the neighbors phone ringing, when the man who was detained called it. This was one of the worst run, backwards investigations that has ever been shown on DPN! #disorderlyproductnews
