Live Audit done at the Berwyn, Il Police Station #DEMANDYOURFLAG movement made it's way to Berwyn,Il and the exchange was intresting and thought provoking to say the least. The Berwyn Police Department has a couple of Thin Blue Line collages hung in their lobby. Do Police officers have constitutional rights, do police officers have freedom of speech? The answer to that is no, not in the course of their duties they are part of the Executive Branch of the Government. Rights are reserved for the citizens and are to be upheld by the government. Government's ONLY purpose is to serve the people. Off duty as a private citizen ofcourse, but on duty they have something called LEBOR which stands for Law Enforcement bill of rights. The Bill of Rights are the first 10 ammendment's. Having to come up with LEBOR shows you they are different, LEBOR is not recognized by the constitution, and they most certainly don't have freedom of speech. LEBOR pretty much was made to give Law Enforcement a road map for the 5th ammendment, when they are accused of a crime. Since they don't have the same rights as citizens a road map had to be made to show them what the alternative is.
