Holiday Tree Craft

Make 'em tall or make 'em tiny, these trees are sure to make your Christmas season more fun! This is a quick and easy project that really is lots of fun to do!

Start by creating a cone the size of the tree you want to make. We've got a downloadable pattern if you need one, just tape it up and this is your base.

First, apply some silicone caulk to the sides of the cone. You don't have to cover the entire thing, just turn the cone as you're applying so you end up with an even layer.
Now here's the fun part -- this is kind of like playing with frosting -- so smooth out the silicone -- a plastic knife works really well, and you can leave it like this, OR you can some texture to it.

Use the back of a spoon to create these pretty peaks. Or use a plastic fork to create a spiral pattern down the tree. Make up your own texture and tool combo! It's really easy to whip up a whole forest full of these trees. If you really want to add some holiday spirit...add a little sprinkle of glitter -and these are good to go!
