Alternative Ways to Detain People; The Terry Era IMDb

Before the Digital Era, where everything is on video, the idea of having to physically detain a human being could have made sense, in extreme scenarios. Today, we allow police to arrest us using POW protocols. WE are the POWs. Something as small as Jaywalking or Shoplifting equates to Unreasonable Use of Force and typically, the person is kidnapped and taken to a dungeon.

We have to change the reasons why anybody should ever be detained. Then, we have to change how people are detained, in extreme circumstances, where violence is actively happening. And, not the cop's violence on people as they enforce their will. We have so many changes to do.
